Non-ionizing electromagnetic fields permeate our environment.
The effects of these fields on our biological systems has been explored in other maps. In these two maps, I am trying to provide
an overview of the possible effects at tissue, cellular and intracellular levels.
Two themes seem to stand out in the research:
- free radical damage
(oxidative, nitrosative)
- movement of molecules and organelles in electric, magnetic, static and combination fields.
